Academic Focus

Civilization studies, commerce, history, Italian language and literature, Italian studies.

Session

1 month sessions held year-round, from first to the end of the month.

Venue

Headquartered in Perugia, Italy. Field trips to Umbria, Siena, Rome, Florence, Naples, Venice; optional travel to Tuscany, Venice, southern Italy at an extra cost.

Living Arrangements

Students live in locally rented apartments, host family homes. Quarters are shared with host institution students, students from other programs. Meals are taken on one's own, in residences, in central dining facility, in restaurants.

Requirements

Minimum age 18; open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students, adults; 2.2 GPA; 2 letters of recommendation; no foreign language proficiency required.
